Here we see the Gospelman character's design still coming into its own. I think his eyes here are closer to how I want them.

Today's Gospelman is a comic strip and is a part of the “Everyone” rated Gospelman. It is not solely for younger readers nor is it directed only toward mature audiences.

When commenting, due to the controversial feelings and thoughts that politics and religion often bring up, remember to always comment in a mature and professional way. Thank you.

Today's comment:

Yeah, in the 6 years since I drew the above comic, I redesigned the character. Originally Gospelman was more of a soft, humorous comic strip character, but later I redesigned him to look more like a superhero for the Adventure series. It was so difficult for me to choose to not use the original design I was trying to accomplish (I have forgotten what it looks like now), that at one point I had decided to use that design for the comic strip and the more muscular version for the Adventure series. The latest comic strip, which I am in the coloring process for, abandons alternate designs for the sake of one, consistent official design. As it should be. Speaking of which, I now hate how I drew Gospelman in the above comic strip. Just doesn't look right - the head, I mean. The first two look better than this one, to be honest.

And I probably wrote that whole comment warning thing due to paranoia, although in 2010 there were some negative comments against the Christian message the comic espouses, for sure.

More to come!

P.S. - The Gospelman comic strips, despite being given their own book collections one day, will be used as filler material in the Gospelman Adventures printed series. That being the case, please feel free to send all of your fan mail and fan art to GospelmanMinistries@Gmail.com! Thanks, guys!
